- Filter it out. If your filtration system is not working properly, it can easily cause the water to become cloudy. Make sure to always keep your filter clean and replace it whenever it is necessary to prevent backwashing.
- Issues with circulation. If your pool has a poor circulation system, it can throw off the chemistry of the water, even if the filter is working properly. If the circulation system does not circulate chemicals correctly, it can cause algae and other contaminates to grow and cloud the water. Check the return fittings of your pool system and make sure that they are pointed in a slightly downward position so that they can circulate water and chemicals through your pool.
