Properly Caring for Your Jacuzzi During the Winter

When the temperature falls and the winter is on the way, your Jacuzzi needs to be properly cared for and maintained.  Before the winter comes, you need to have a winter checklist ready.  This checklist will ensure that your Jacuzzi is safe during the frigid winter months, and ready to be used when the warm summer months roll back around.  Planning is the only way that you can ne sure that you have completed every task that is required to properly care for your Jacuzzi.

Create a Weekly Checklist

It will be in your best interest to create a weekly checklist.  You need to have three instances on this weekly checklist, which include:

  • Testing chlorine levels
  • Testing PH levels
  • Check for foaming water

Your chlorine levels should stay between 3 and 5 mg.  The PH levels need to remain between 7.2 and 7.6.  If you experience foaming water, use anti-foam.  If you have a Jacuzzi that is out in the elements, you need to properly care for your cover.  Air drying is the best method that you can use.
